They will be working cross functionally with teams that span across multiple business units to organize all design matters relating to the projects, helping to ensure that everything is delivered on time and within budget. The Display Designer will report to the Custom Displays Design Manager and work alongside them to ensure resources, schedules and budgets adhere to the brand guidelines.<h2></h2><h2><span Responsibilities:</p><ul><li><p>Collaborate with sales, showroom teams, and marketing to develop showroom layouts that align with brand identity, customer engagement strategies, and retail objectives.</p></li><li><p>Space plan showroom layouts of various sizes within a drafting software program</p></li><li><p>Iterate on designs by accommodating revisions, multiple layout versions, and material refinements to gain necessary approvals for production.</p></li><li><p>Prepare high-quality presentations in PowerPoint, including 3D-colored renderings, material selections, and annotated plans for internal and external stakeholder discussions</p></li><li><p>Develop technical drawings, including electrical and mechanical plans, to ensure proper integration of appliances, cabinetry, lighting, and other showroom elements.</p></li><li><p>Redline and review shop drawings from millwork suppliers and contractors to confirm precise appliance fit, material compatibility, and execution feasibility.</p></li><li><p>Ensure brand standards are upheld in third-party display builds by providing design guidance, visual consistency, and technical oversight to vendors and external teams.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Explore innovative design solutions, incorporating sustainable materials, modular fixture designs, and digital display technology when possible.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Project Management Responsibilities:</p><ul><li><p>Lead project coordination by working with GEA’s build and install partners to ensure showroom display execution aligns with brand expectations, project timelines, and budgets.</p></li><li><p>Facilitate communication across cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, design, vendor partners) via Microsoft Teams, project management software, and in-person meetings.</p></li><li><p>Manage vendor and supplier relationships, ensuring quality assurance, adherence to specifications, and timely delivery of showroom components.</p></li><li><p>Attend weekly supplier meetings to provide design insights, troubleshoot challenges, and align on project goals and next steps.</p></li><li><p>Oversee contracts, SOWs, and addendums, ensuring vendor agreements are reviewed, aligned with project scopes, and approved efficiently.</p></li><li><p>Develop and maintain comprehensive installation documentation, including detailed drawings, cabinetry/appliance lists, material specifications, and electrical plans.</p></li><li><p>Procure project-specific materials, such as props, hardware, wallcoverings, digital signage elements, and unique showroom accessories.</p></li><li><p>Maintain an organized project database via SharePoint, Smartsheet, or other collaboration platforms, ensuring that design files, approvals, and version histories are well-documented and easily accessible</p></li></ul><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h2><span class="emphasis-3">What You'll Bring to Our Team</span></h2><p><b><u>Minimum Qualifications:</u></b></p><ul><li><p><span>Bachelor’s degree in interior design, industrial design or related field</span></p></li><li><p><span>3 years of experience as a design assistant, kitchen designer or other related work experience</span></p></li><li><p><span>Proficiency with AutoCAD or other relevant design drafting software (I.e. 2020 / Sketchup / Chief Architect)</span>   </p></li><li><p>Strong understanding of millwork detailing, construction drawings, and appliance specifications.</p></li><li><p>Experience managing design projects with multiple stakeholders and external vendors.</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.</p></li><li><p>Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span>Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands</span></p></li><li><p><span>Proficient in Power Point, Excel, Word, Microsoft Teams</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><u>Preferred Qualifications:</u></b></p><ul><li><p>Experience with rendering software such as Enscape, V-Ray, or Lumion.</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with AR/VR showroom visualization tools.</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of ADA compliance and retail display regulations</p></li></ul><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p
